Prologue: Eat it !

“Get ready to leave for Airugo.”

The Emperor’s words stirred Silvanus’s audience.

Even if he didn’t say his reason, everyone in Silvanus’s knew the answer.

A marriage of convenience.

A political marriage with Airugo, their enemy.

Sending a pet to this marriage, so that it will die one day. Maybe that’s what the Emperor wanted.

For Aristine to die.

But Aristine, the party that is involved, stood still and as usual, she wore a look of nonchalance and boredom.

She was the only one in Silvanus who would react like that to such news.

The Emperor looked at her inconspicuously and twisted his mouth.

“Isn’t it a relief, my daughter?”

At first glance it may appear like he was about to give her some fatherly advice, but it soon turned into a mouthful of poison.

“You might be useless but still, you have my noble blood running through your veins. You can make yourself worthy now.”

Even if she was insulted, there was no change to Aristine’s face.

Her face did not have long lashes, her eyes wasn’t clear and deep as a lake, even her lips could not compare to the sculpture of the moon. Her face was just expressionless.

“I always thought that I would have to give you more initiation, because I thought you would be more upset, but this is also good.” He looked around and laughed.

“You can clean up the garbage, help your country, and you can prove your own existence, even if it is rubbish. Dogs can have their day after all. “

The audience laughed in unison with the Emperor, as if it’s the funniest thing in the world.

Aristine remained still though.

Her eyes were slightly lowered, and they seemed to obey her father’s order.

And a month later, Aristine was on her way to Airugo.

Very few were truly saddened by her misfortune, but Aristine got in the carriage anyway.

Her unshakable figure left a deep impression on those who had laughed at her.

The moment when the carriage door closed and the curtains went down, “Go and disappear from my world. Such a waste of oxygen.”

In an instant Aristine has changed, as if her previous image was completely false.

Raising her middle’s finger toward the Emperor’s place, her smile was like an angel within this mortal realm.
